The iconic Disneyland Train and Station has been reimagined into LEGO form. Marked as 71044, this set contains 2925 pieces, the model is faithful to the source material. It managed to resemble the distinguished look of the Disney Train and the Main Street U.S.A. Station. Let's take a look at the package.

The box art clearly exhibits the overall look of the train station and the interior details. One special feature is the App control function. Download the App "LEGO Powered Up" and pair with Bluetooth, then you are ready to go.

In the front page, click on the thumbnail icon, you get to choose between a summer and a winter themes. The two themes consist of different music in the background. You can also launch sound effect, whistling and a ringing, and music reminiscent of being in Disney Park. Tap the + plus sign to accelerate or - minus sign to slow down the train.

Disney Characters

The set would not be completed without some Disney characters. Five exclusive minifigures included are Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Chip and Dale. Minnie and the first-ever Goofy feature the classic look of characters. Mickey is based on his Railroad Engineer/Conductor with red bandanna outfit, possibly from the Disneyland Resort "World's Biggest Mouse Party" Mystery Pin Collection. Chip and Dale appear to be an original take on their train conductor uniforms.

Disney train carriage, station, components

The highlight of the set is the predominant red-colored Disney Steam train. A faithful rendition of the C.K. Holliday-inspired locomotive along with the carriage. Both the train and the station platform interiors can be easily accessed.

Items include ticket counter, cafe corner, brick-built furnishings, draped windows, wall clock and ceiling chandelier. Several posters are displayed inside the Main Street U.S.A. station, which includes 1955 Bjorn Aronson's Santa Fe and Disneyland Railroad poster and 1959 Paul Hartley's Disneyland Monorail poster. A photo of Lilly Belle train is also included with the set decorations.
