Explaining Marvel's Avengers Cosmetics Purchase
Marvel's Avengers Cosmetics will come in a package called Hero Challenge Card, each hero has this package. Hero Challenge Card includes 40 tiers, each tier unlocks corresponding rewards. Hero Challenge Card has the following Rewards:- Resources
- Rare Resource Bundle: Nanotubes, Nanites, Plasma, Catalyst
- Resource Bundle: Fragments and Upgrade Modules
- Upgrade Module Bundles: Upgrade Modules
- Exotic Resource Bundle: Polychoron and Uru
- Units
- Credits
- Cosmetics items:
- Hero Nameplates
- Team Nameplates
- Emotes
- Takedowns
- Outfits
Component A (40 tiers) is free and allows players to unlock Rewards by completing daily and weekly challenges. After completing each challenge, players will earn Challenge Points to gain their Rewards. These Rewards are Resources, Units, Credits and Cosmetics items that are free in this 40 tiers.
Each Superhero comes with one signature Hero Challenge Card.
Component B (Premium Rewards) is bonus Cosmetics items and extra challenges. Players can ONLY get this with real-life currency. Aside from bonus rewards, another major difference between Component A and B is the amount of credits return. Once players have completed all challenges in Premium Rewards and 40 tiers, players can earn back the FULL activation Credits, the in-game currency that players have paid for Premium Rewards. Players can spend Credits in the game.
Another distinguished feature is the ability to skip tiers and gain the rewards in 40 tiers faster. Players do not need to complete challenges in the 40 tiers to get the Cosmetics items if they have bought Credits for Premium Rewards.

Credits:
- Credits are our hard currency – in-game currency purchased with real money.
- Purpose: Purchase cosmetic items in the Marketplace.
- Calculations:
- USD 5.00 for a 500-credit pack
- Credits come in packs of 500, 2,000, 5,000, 10,000
- bonus credits for bigger packs

At launch, the six core Avengers (Black Widow, Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man, Kamala Khan, Thor) will have activated premium rewards for their Hero Challenge Cards. Players can earn and enjoy all content for FREE (no need to pay premium rewards for the six Avengers).
New Hero Challenge Cards for post-launch heroes (Avengers Initiative), players have the option to activate the premium rewards with 1,000 Credits (USD 10).
Cosmetics categories:
- Outfits: For aesthetic only and do not influence gameplay.
- Emotes: Character-specific Emotes that express the player's personality of each Super Hero.
- Takedowns: Finishers that show off each hero’s signature style.
- Nameplates: Displays hero’s stats and inspired by Marvel 80-year history.

Where to buy Marvel's Avengers Cosmetics
1. Marketplace
A place to buy cosmetics (Uncommon, Rare, Epic and Legendary items) with money, ranging from Outfits, Emotes, Takedowns to Nameplates. It exists outside the game’s narrative. Update weekly.
2. Vendors
There are Gear Vendor and Cosmetic Vendors. Narrative-based store operators. Cosmetics, Gear, and Rare Resources are available in exchange for Units and common Resources.Resources:
- Common e.g. Fragments, Rare e.g. Plasma and Exotic varieties e.g. Uru
- they are traded with Vendors or used to upgrade gear.
Patterns:
- create an Outfit or Nameplate at Fabrication Machines.
- earn them through high-level crates, activities, Faction Missions and increasing your Faction level.
Units:
- soft-currency – in-game digital currency with no real-world value
- spent with Vendors
- can be found in strongboxes or earned as rewards for increasing your Faction Level
A: Gear Vendors
– character-specific Gear and Resources in exchange for Fragments. Update daily or weekly.
B: Cosmetic Vendors
– accept Units to purchase Outfits, Emotes, and Nameplates
– Legendary Outfits rotate weekly; Nameplates, Emotes and Epic and Rare Outfits rotate daily.
Important points
- New characters, story content, missions and regions will be available at no additional cost to players.
- Each Superhero has custom move sets and combos, Skills, Gear, Heroics and an range of free unlockable Outfits. These new FREE content aims to prevent content gating and provide a good experience for players as a team of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
