The all-new documentary film "Disneyland Handcrafted" has officially debuted TODAY (January 22, 2026) on Disney+ and Disney YouTube Channel, inviting audiences to step inside the behind-the-scenes world of Disneyland Resort and discover the artistry that brings Disney magic to life.
《Disneyland Handcrafted》聚焦於 迪士尼樂園 中各種「看得見、也看不見」的工藝之美，呈現由傳統手藝到創新技術，如何共同塑造出賓客所熟悉的奇妙體驗。
Set within Disneyland Resort, "Disneyland Handcrafted" shines a spotlight on the many forms of craftsmanship — both seen and unseen — that shape the park experience. The film explores how traditional hands-on techniques and evolving technologies come together to create the immersive environments guests know and love.

Unearthing the Vaults
《Disneyland Handcrafted》 最引人入勝之處在於其珍貴素材。Leslie Iwerks 與團隊在研究過往計畫時，於 Walt Disney Film Archives 檔案庫中發現了近 50 小時、塵封七十載的 16mm 無聲原始底片。這些膠捲大多是當年《Disneyland》電視系列節目的未採用片段，如今首度經過精密修復並進行高解析度掃描。
What makes "Disneyland Handcrafted" truly unique is the source material. While researching previous projects, Leslie Iwerks and her team discovered nearly 50 hours of raw, 16mm silent footage that had been sitting in the Walt Disney Film Archives for seven decades. These reels, many of which were outtakes from the original Disneyland TV series, have been meticulously restored and scanned in high resolution for the first time.

Since the original footage was silent, the team at Skywalker Sound built a complete, immersive soundscape from scratch, allowing viewers to "hear" the construction site, the machinery, and the atmosphere of 1955 for the very first time.
