「創夢共融：2023年國際復康日慶典並賀中國香港運動員凱旋」慶祝活動於今天假 香港迪士尼樂園 舉行｜Hong Kong Disneyland Resort Hosted The “Dreamers Unite: Celebration for IDPD 2023 and Homecoming for Hong Kong China Athletes”

香港迪士尼樂園度假區（香港迪士尼）響應「國際復康日」31週年，於今天（2023年12月9日）舉行「創夢共融：2023年國際復康日慶典並賀中國香港運動員凱旋」慶祝活動。

Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) today (December 9, 2023) hosted a grand celebration, “Dreamers Unite: Celebration for IDPD 2023 and Homecoming for Hong Kong China Athletes,” commemorating the 31st anniversary of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) while also celebrating the homecoming of Hong Kong athletes.

慶典作為重要的平台支持殘疾人士,推動多元、平等、共融文化，展現所有人都能夠勇於追尋並實現夢想。超過1,000名嘉賓，包括不同才能的殘疾人士，以及參與杭州第 19 屆亞洲運動會，及第 4 屆亞洲殘疾人運動會的中國香港代表團受邀出席活動，他們齊聚於「奇妙夢想城堡」前參與慶典。

The occasion represented a significant platform to celebrate people with disabilities, emphasizing diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as demonstrating how all people can aspire to achieve their dreams.  The event invited over 1,000 guests, including talented people with disabilities, and the Hong Kong, China delegations for the Hangzhou 19th Asian Games and 4th Asian Para Games to attend the event at the Castle of Magical Dreams.

香港特別行政區政府勞工及福利局局長 孫玉菡、香港復康聯會主席暨中國香港殘疾人奧委會董事 張偉良、以及香港迪士尼樂園度假區行政總裁 莫偉庭 擔任慶典主禮嘉賓。

Joining the ceremony as guests of honor were Chris Sun, Secretary for Labour and Welfare of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region; Benny Cheung, Chairperson of the Hong Kong Joint Council for People with Disabilities and the Board Director of China Hong Kong Paralympic Committee; and Michael Moriarty, Managing Director, HKDL.

莫偉庭 表示：「在香港迪士尼，慶祝『國際復康日』已成為備受喜愛的傳統，這亦彰顯我們致 力推動共融文化及提倡通達。」 他續指：「非常高興能夠在同一時刻慶賀中國香港運動員在亞運會及亞殘運會取得的輝煌成就。他們證明了夢想無界限,這亦是香港迪士尼一直秉承及宣揚的信念。」今年，香港迪士尼先後透過「迪士尼創夢家青少年展能藝術發展計劃」，支援本地年輕殘疾藝術家，每位參加者有機會獲得高達港幣 50,000 元的發展基金，以鼓勵他們發揮藝術潛能。為提倡藝術通達，香港迪士尼亦在多個表演中引入手語元素及劇場視形傳譯，包括全新「魔雪奇緣世界」內的互動劇場體驗「森林小天地」。

“At HKDL, it has become a much-loved tradition to celebrate IDPD, which is a shining example of our commitment to inclusivity and accessibility,” said Moriarty. “This year, we also celebrate the outstanding achievements of our Hong Kong, China Asian Games and Asian Para Games athletes, who have proved that no dream is too big. At HKDL, we share these values and celebrate that spirit.”  This year, HKDL is sponsoring young local artists with disabilities through the Disney Dream Makers Youth Development Program, where each recipient has the chance to receive up to HK$50,000 to showcase their artistic growth.  To promote arts accessibility, HKDL is incorporating sign language elements and theatrical interpretation in its entertainment offerings. These include the most recent live interactive theatrical experience Playhouse in the Woods in the newly opened World of Frozen, as well as other theater shows.

   

  

慶典結束後，運動員在香港迪士尼全新的「魔雪奇緣世界」（World of Frozen）享受身歷奇境的體驗。在亞運會上獲得金牌的香港七人欖球隊成員 李卡度（Cado Lee），以及在亞殘運會游泳賽事取得金牌的 陳睿琳，均很開心可以體驗「魔雪奇緣世界」。

The ceremony today served as an opportunity for Hong Kong athletes, their teams, and all people to come together and immerse themselves in a magical world, including experiencing the brand-new World of Frozen.  Cado Lee, representing the gold medal- winning Hong Kong Rugby Sevens team in the Asian Games, and Chan Yui-lam, a gold medalist in swimming competitions at the Asian Para Games, both expressed their delight at getting to experience World of Frozen.

李卡度 表示：「感謝香港迪士尼讓我們在繁忙的訓練中抽空放鬆一下。我們在這個奇妙的全新主題園區玩得十分盡興！」 陳睿琳 亦表示：「特別感謝社會各界籌備今次別具意義的活動，讓更多人了解和重視傷健共融的重要性。」

“Thank you HKDL, for giving us the opportunity to take time off from our training schedules. We have enjoyed ourselves so much in this magical new themed land,” said Lee. “I would like to give special thanks to different organizations in the community for hosting this meaningful event. These events allow more people to understand and treasure the importance of inclusion,” added Chan.

為進一步支持社區，香港迪士尼透過香港社會服務聯會以及香港復康聯會，向全港各大支援殘疾人士的機構，捐贈合共超過 5,000 張樂園門票，分享歡樂予更多有需要人士。

To further support the community, HKDL is donating over 5,000 park tickets to people with disabilities through Hong Kong Council of Social Service and Hong Kong Joint Council for People with Disabilities.
